Creating programs for teaching signal and image processing
Novotný, Luděk ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problém of creating interactive JAVA applets. The practical part of work consist of desing, development and debugging four applets. The first one clearly explains the issue of phasor theory, the second one shows frequency filtering of audio signals, the third one demonstrates artificial coloring of grayscale images and the fourth one creates Huffman code from input text. The theoretical part describes the JAVA language, advantages of applets and theory, which relates to particular applets.
Web applications supporting education of audio signal processing
Malcher, Tomáš ; Mokrý, Ondřej (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals with a creation of web applications using JavaScript language. These web applications should be helpful in signal processing classes by showing and explaining different phenomenons to students. Students can see how different parameters affect the outcome of said issue. The theory needed for understanding and implementation is covered by this thesis. Thesis covers key parts of the code of said web applications and the libraries used for their implementaition.
Analysis of dynamic load from induction machine current signature
Pavláček, Jan ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the analysis of the dynamic behavior of the load from the measurement of stator currents of induction motor. Work is sorted from basic engine failures equations, mathematical models, types of signal processing, simulation and measurement. The practical part deals with the design of the motor model in Matlab Simulink, the simulated and the measurement of the pump BETA 12 YC On the Department of Fluid Engineering Victor Kaplan. Use appropriate types of signal processing evaluate the results. The aim of this work is to analyze the dynamic changes of the load.
3-phase Power Factoctor Corrector Units for Laboratory Training
Plucnara, Roman ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The aim is to describe the issue of compensation factor. The thesis describes the methods and individual implementation of compensation unit from rotating compensators, used until now protected compensation section and active filters. It also describes the influence of processing and elimination of higher harmonics present in the compensated circuits. The following are simple phasor diagrams and relevant patterns. The practical part shows these preconditions used to create laboratory exercises. Individual solve specific practical task illustrate the importance of reactive power compensation is using sophisticated, compensation elements used, for example, reactive power regulators. It reflected the simplest possible compensation the power factor, using the manual switching of capacitor banks.
Design of permanent magnet synchronous motor
Pavláček, Jan ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis is bent proposal synchronic motor with permanent magnets. Here are described characteristic synchronic motors, permanent magnets and possibilites construction. This thesis is sorted from common description, feature and principle function. Here are also mentioned benefits and disadvantages synchronic motors with permanent magnets. Main volume of work is proposal synchronic motor with various modifications. Proposal is realized in program Ansys Maxwell (modulus RMxpert). Engine data are entered from program Excel, where is state full calculation input and output parameters. Value is tested from [11]. Aim those work are various modification synchronic motor and his analysis.

Segmentation of Multi-Dimensional Multi-Parametric Microscopic Data of Biological Samples Using Convolutional Neural Networks
Backová, Lenka ; Benda, Aleš (advisor) ; Schätz, Martin (referee)
Multi-parametric highly dimensional images have become a standard way of imaging biological samples. To quantify results from these images, segmentation must be often applied first. However, due to the underlying shortcomings of the fluorescence microscopy of biological samples, i.e. low signal-to-noise ratio, convolutional neural networks have become widely used for automatization of the segmentation. Convolution neural networks showed to be versatile in their potential uses and able to segment complex images. In this work, we utilise neural network U-Net for segmentation of images, which contain not only intensity information, but fluorescence excited state lifetime information as well. We try different representations of the data to assess, whether the added information of the pixel values leads to improved performance. We present an application of the segmentation results with phasor analysis to study the fertility of mice sperm. 1
Alternating current circuits in physics education
Cinkraut, Kamil ; Žilavý, Peter (advisor) ; Kácovský, Petr (referee)
The aim of the paper is to define and explain terms of phasor and phasor diagram for students of secondary education level in the Czech republic. It is providing a link between the theoretical foundation of the terms in the mathematics based textbooks available on the market and its establishement and practical use in the teaching process. The purpose of the thesis is to explain the problematic of phasor and phasor diagram in the elecrtic load with the alternating current power supply, which consists of rezistor (R), inductor (L) and capacitor (C). In the second part of the paper, the problematic of the complex numbers and its use is described. In this part, the solution of series or parallel RLC circuit is found by the use of phasor diagram or complex numbers. The paper is furthermore providing reader with problems with solution, which serve as an example for the teaching purposes. The paper is providing the reader with a combination of the theoretical foundation of phasor and phasor diagram with their practical use and application, in order to enable a coherent and understandable explanation of the terms.
